Aerostat Suppliers

We are utilizing Aerostats, which are these best in class balloons that are built with a special material meant to hold hydrogen or helium for prolonged time periods. These will help with our pilots and our deployments for various connectivity usecases, and we have already looked into some potential suppliers to outsource our needs to order on an individual or launch basis.

Future Plans for LEO

Stark Drones is working on research into different technologies within the propulsion industry that center around sustainability. We want to have Low Earth Orbit launch vehicles that utilize alternative methods of propulsion such as steam and electric, hydrogen, or experimental launch vehicles such as rockoons that utilize aerostats.

Testing in Harbor Beach

At that time we utilized a weather balloon in leu of an aerostat, and we had to use helium tanks from Walmart because of a helium shortage. It was relatively low elevation, and the humble beginnings of part of a vision.
